Hi! I'm Jane Reinke, the company owner and quilter of Jane Reinke's Machine Quilting, a professional longarm machine quilting business located in Lake Benton, Minnesota.
Jane Reinke's Machine Quilting provides a longarm machine quilting service for quilters who enjoy piecing quilt tops, but don’t have the time for hand quilting. A longarm quilting machine has the ability to create uniform designs and patterns and with it I will transform your quilt top into a finished treasure.
My quilting studio is in my home, which is a non-smoking, pet-free, clean and caring environment. Rest assured - your hard work is in the hands of a fellow quilter who appreciates the work involved with cutting and piecing a quilt top. Your investment will be treated as though it were my own.
There are many ways to personalize your quilt. The best way to ensure that the quilting reflects your vision is to contact me so that we can talk about your expectations and preferences. I can provide you with edge-to-edge patterns, meandering, and/or custom quilting. You may choose a pattern I have in stock, request one, or leave the design to me.
The hand-guided longarm quilting machine I use is a Gammill Classic, which uses a series of fabric handling rollers to join the lining, fiberfill, and top fabric over a 14 foot stand on which the sewing mechanism freely moves. Once the exposed fabric surface is quilted, all three fabric layers are advanced simultaneously to reveal the next area to be quilted.
Longarm quilting is a hand-guided art. This allows your quilt to still have many of the characteristics of hand quilting since computerized perfection is not achievable, nor is it a built-in part of the longarm quilting process.
Thanks for visiting my web site. I look forward to hearing from you.
